Rs29 combines the outstanding wear rate of the rs19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its excellent driveability pagid endurance materials are also often used for sprint races. The difference to competitors metallic compounds is the superior thermal insulation and the higher heat resistance of ceramic compared to iron. Ceramic has a very low heat conductivity, so less brake disc temperature goes through the pad to the caliper.
